About five minutes walk from the U-Bahn Station Zoologischer Garten is the Filmbühne am Steinplatz. A cultural place which I visited now for the second time. As a queer I felt very well and well cared for both times. A location that is not only open to certain artistic performances, but is also connected to a separate café and a restaurant can be visited daily. In the outdoor area offers a spacious terrace and you are a bit shielded from the bustle of the city. The main nucleus of the location in which the life acts take place offers a rustic-modern charm with many accessories in a warm-hearted environment. Engaged in the dedicated staff and serve their guests from a rich beverage and food offer orders to the square. The space is rising to the rear with individual steps on pedestals. With tables / chairs and is arranged like a restaurant, which offers an estimated 80 people. All visitors have a perfect view of the stage and are right in the middle of the program. The very good acoustics just have to be mentioned. Smoking is allowed in a separate adjoining room. The restrooms are in the front part of the café/ restaurant down the stairs.

On my first visit in September 2018 to 12 POINTS – A Schlager Contest and the show, Caramba – Men, High Heels & other vices. I experienced art of sensuality, rhythm and passion. Cara Ciutan, an artist and an open person with temperament and joy that radiates and lives. With a not everyday terrific-lively voice, which burns in the memory and an unmistakable recognition value. And in addition, human and approachable acts with their audience and appreciates each one. Not just during their shows, but also through cordial conversations with their visitors. I experienced two very nice evenings in the two shows and if the opportunity presents itself again I will certainly visit one of their shows again.
