The SchwuZ is located on a small elevation and is within walking distance, preferably in comfortable shoes from the U-station Neukölln Town Hall, reachable. At the entrance, friendly security staff welcome the guests of the former old brewery. At certain times it can also happen that a longer waiting period has to be accepted. Stylish trans girls get free entry to the parties and friendly hosts give the discotheque additional charm with a very personal touch. The cloakroom team is very quick and makes the guests quickly.
The soil condition of the old factory site is a real challenge for high-Heels wearers and excessive alcohol consumption could lead to unwanted dancing. The SchwuZ has three dance floors with various themed parties and events, although it may also happen that additional special opening days take place through concerts and co. outside the regular events.
Depending on the motto, the DJ’s create different music directions on the dance floors, the dance leg can be swung to it, for example. to Retro, Pop, Electro, House, Charts, Mainstream and more. The high quaint rooms provide a good acoustics and a great music sound.
There are four bars in the discotheque where the hosts serve classic club drinks, such as: softs, long drinks, wine, sparkling wine, beer…
Seating is available throughout the club.
Non-smokers enjoy three smoke-free dance floors that are connected at ground level with a few small obstacles – while smokers share a separate smoking room where the music can be heard from the dance floor.
If you would like to use the restroom, you will find a unisex restroom, where everyone shares a common room, with separate cabins. In between, a toilet employee ensures cleanliness and order.
The SchwuZ presents itself in the rustic retro look, in an old vintage brewery and is visited by a predominantly queer-mixed audience, but also not queer people are among them. The location is worth seeing, with many varied events and great parties to celebrate, dance and linger.
